What is Grace Church?

Grace Church is a welcoming Christian community in Erie, Pennsylvania, focused on helping people follow Jesus and live out God’s story every day, everywhere. We’re a church that gathers for worship and helps people grow as followers of Jesus. We often describe this as building “Dream Disciples.”

What Denomination is Grace Church?

Grace Church is a Baptist Christian church. Our roots are traditional Swedish Baptist, but today we like to think of ourselves as a more contemporary Baptist church. We are affiliated with Converge MidAtlantic. Consider checking out their website to learn more about our denomination.

Grace Church has two physical locations in Erie, PA, including Grace McKean and Grace Harborcreek.

Grace Church holds in‑person worship services every Sunday at 9:00am and 11:00am at both locations.

What should I expect when I visit for the first time?

You can expect a welcoming environment, transformative worship, and teachings that are practical for daily life, yet remain grounded in the truth of God’s Word. In addition to our

more modern worship venues, we also offer a more traditional experience in The Commons at Grace McKean at 9:00am and 11:00am.

What should I wear to Grace Church?

There is no dress code at Grace Church. People often dress casually and comfortably, but if you like to dress to impress, that’s welcome too!

Does Grace Church have programs for kids?

Is Grace Church safe for my kids?

Yes! GraceKids environments are secure, age‑appropriate, and staffed by trained volunteers who have completed the necessary clearances.

Does Grace Church offer programs for students and youth?

Absolutely! GraceYouth is a great option for students in Grades 6-12. They typically meet on Wednesday evenings at both our locations throughout the school year. Learn more about GraceYouth here.

How long are the Sunday services?

Most worship services last about 65 to 70 minutes.

What are LifeGroups?

Grace Church has many opportunities to serve! Chances are, there’s a volunteer role that aligns with your interests, skills, or spiritual gifts.
