Applying what you learned during the DANIEL sermons

by Derek Sanford on June 28, 2016

I know that at Grace we've moved on to a new month and a new series. But, I also know that for many of you our 7-week series in Daniel was special. It was a great time of diving deep into the Word of God and learning about being a courageous Christian in a godless culture. If you missed the series - you can check out the sermon archives here.

One of our great volunteer leaders at Grace, Scott Tait, put together a chart to help him apply the messages from the series to his life. He described the process this way:

I find myself continually challenged to move the head knowledge of the sermons to heart knowledge so that I can incorporate the main point into my life.  Maybe it's me, but I have to go through these steps of acquiring the head knowledge, praying for it to penetrate my heart, getting an answer or direction on my prayer and then seeing my heart change so I can take consistent action in my life... So this chart is a help for me to debrief from the series and monitor my progress.

I was so compelled by Scott's application chart that I wanted to share it with you. I think it could help others move knowledge from their head to their heart and actually start living it out. I hope it proves to be a helpful tool for you.

The chart is below or you can download a PDF version here.
