Many of you have asked for current news from Haiti. The following was sent from Marilyn Shaferly. Marilyn and her husband Dave spent nearly 5 decades serving Haiti and the staff/facilities our teams work with every year. They recently returned to Haiti to serve the earthquake victims. Her observations are unique because she has been deeply involved with Haitians for a long time. It’s worth the read. This is a true move of God’s Spirit in this desolate land.

Pat, an intern at Grace, posted an insightful article that recently ran in the New York Times. The article described the rise of mixed martial arts “ministries” in America. The article was well done, but described an approach to the sport that we don’t practice here. I thought this would be a good opportunity to describe what we do and to respond to some common concerns.
